Continuing on from the extremely organised Bec who seems to pump out her responses asap, we are on the topic of fasion investment pieces.
I consider an investment piece to be something you are willing to spend a bit of extra money on. A piece which has wonderful quality, will surpass all the current trends and be something that will be worn or used again and again.
Some classic examples of fashion investment pieces:
I also believe it’s extremely worth while investing in a gorgeous watch. I find them so classy and I would much rather see a woman glance at the stunning watch on her wrist to see the time then whip out her mobile. (Hope that doesn’t offend anyone! I use my mobile all the time ;))
I’m absolutely in love with this Rose Gold watch by Michael Kors. It’s just beautiful but I’m not sure it’s for everyone because it might not suit some skin tones out there.
Another piece I consider to be an excellent investment is a Black Leather Handbag. Again I think it’s a piece which exudes class and has that classic feel.
I find the Black Leather handbag to also be a fabulous pick for job interviews or client meetings, they definitely have a professional vibe to them.
My two favourites from the picks above would have to be the following:
When considering an investment piece I think it’s always a great idea to do some research and read reviews of the pieces you are considering.
Purchase with the intention to use these pieces over a long period of time. Shop smart and choose the classics which never go out of style.
I think I’m going to have to save up for the Michael Kors watch 😉

Love those two bags! I have a slightly more generic version of them in my collection.
Also love the cardigans, I don’t have a really nice one, perhaps that should be my mission this year?
Absolutely! I live in Cardigans but I would love a Cashmere one, so lets find one together.
I need a LBD too! You need to help me find one :p
Deal, I will never turn down a chance to go shopping,
Seriously you guys! My shopping wish-list is growing by the minute. Shoes, handbags, jackets, cardigans, trousers (even though some of those items would be completely unsuitable for my weather conditions most of the time)…and it keeps getting better and better.
My goal is to do a complete wardrobe overhaul when I reach my goal weight, and the man is on board with this clear claim to spend a lot of money! If I can swing a trip to Sydney to do my shopping, can I grab one (or all 3 of you) to be my personal stylists?!
I happily agree to be a part of that!
I love helping people celebrate personal achievements and I love shopping, the ultimate win/win.
Plus I can’t imagine anything better than spending a day with you, Caitlyn and Amy. Three of my favourite people in the world!
It is also my secret desire to be taken out shopping when I go to Sydney – whenever that may be!
That would also be an absolute delight!
We had an awesome time coming up with responses to your question by the way xoxox
A watch as an investment piece: that’s a great point and one I’d never thought of before! I have two watches, one small narrow one, and one chunky square one. I don’t wear them much anymore – since I lost a lot of weight last year, and having my baby. Now that my son is a bit bigger, though, and doesn’t need to be nursed on my arm, I should really start wearing a watch again.
I love two of those little black dresses. I don’t love the price tag on one of them, but this one is a reasonable price!
If you would like me to hunt down some more LBDs with a better price tag let me know! Most of those are WAY outside anything I could afford.
Always happy to help ❤
