You know those mornings where nothing seems to work and the simplest things take *forever*?
That was today for me so instead of thinking about it I went to my current go to outfit to wear to work.
It’s a knee-length, faux-wrap dress in black that dips a little too low at the front (ie the “girls” are constantly out) so to make it a little more modest and add a pop of colour I am wearing a cute little singlet top in red underneath. I finished the ensemble with stockings and my chunky healed black slouch boots and a great French Connection scarf/ wrap. Perth weather is still pretty mild so I didn’t worry about a coat or jacket today. My jewellery is pretty modest and is in shades of brown/ gold.
Do you have an outfit that you go to when you just can’t be bothered inventing a new look?
ABCs of Style. 
I totally agree – winter = effort. Us Aussie’s just aren’t used to it! I need to invest in a new go-to.. my navy military inspired blazer is literally falling apart and I am so over my black boots.
I am on the verge of getting a blazer as I am heading back to NSW and feel I’ll need it in the cooler weather.
As for black boots, I hear you there I am wearing browns, gunmetal and nudes this year for something a little different
