Okay so I’m a bit weird about photos, I have to get over it sometime though so here is my first attempt at being less critical about how I look in photos.
I wore this dress out to dinner (The Bird Cage) and a show (Mary Poppins) last night and every part of it made me feel great. The whole outfit also cost less than $100 so it goes to show that any budget can be worked around if you keep your eyes peeled for bargains.
Cobolt Dress (Basque Woman) $23 from Myer (75% off sale plus further reductions)
Glitter Clutch $14.95 from Colette (hereafter known as my disco purse, it is so much fun)
Nude Heels $40 from Target
Earrings were a gift
I kept the accessories really basic and picked a simple retro hairstyle to match in with my fabulous 70’s inspired dress. That blue makes me happy π
Have an awesome rest of weekend.

Thank you! π
The blue dress looks gorgeous on suits you well!
Just gorgeous – you look so amazing in that blue!
And I must now find a disco purse…
Every girl should have a Disco purse!
Woohoo!!! Well done on posting the picture Bec you look great :D!!! xoxoxo
cheers love, I was stupid nervous about but now it is done I’m ok.
Nothing to fear. Not a single bad comment came through. People have the right to be fashionable no matter if their size XS or XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXLLLLLLL (slight exaggeration maybe) but you get the idea π
Stunning!!! You look great, the colour is perfect and you have put together a gorgeous outfit. As a bigger girl, I share issues about photos (my family know there is a rule about from the chest up please!!)…..I am a non dress wearer, but this picture has inspired me to maybe rethink the whole fear. Great job, keep it up and thanks for sharing!
That blue is gorgeous, it pops on you! Beautiful π
aww thanks love xoxox
What a gorgeous colour!! It looks great on you π
Thank you, I was worried it might be too much but was happy with the way it turned out

Thanks, that blue is amazing and that is as straight as my hair is ever going to get lol!
I’m a cruly head too!
Just decided about two years ago to stop fighting it and just let it have its way. At least I get some extra sleep now that I don’t have to fight with my hair every morning! π
100% agree, most mornings I go natural. I make an effort for special occasions
Holy Hot Stuff Batman… You… are just…. Ah, I dont have words. Beautiful!

Absolutely everyone needs one shiny purse.

Stunning tone Bec, definitely pulled it off! I also have a similar weird awkwardness with photos of myself… and posing, but well done! A happy and smiling confidence for the win hun xx
Thank you!
The first photo is always the hardest I think, after that it gets easier to see yourself on screen.
