Happy Monday All,

Its a particularly happy Monday here in Sydney for little old me as today I was accepted to complete my BA at Macquarie University!!! *happy dorky dance*

I’ve put off studying for a few years because I was trying to ‘find’ myself and although I don’t really think I have done that, I am certainly more mature and level headed than I was when I left high school in 2008! So in the spirit of my nerdy study plan (i’m colour coding my room in order to create a positive feng-shui!) I thought I’d quickly put together a cool studying outfit. Why cant we look cool and cute while studying, right?

Any who, here it is!

Sacrificing Fashion?

A few of us on the blog roll have been a tiny bit sick of late. Im currently down and out with a cold, so I just wanted to quickly talk about whether we have to sacrifice fashion in order to get better!?

My Answer, you guessed it, NO!

Feeling fashionable and stylish helps me to feel better. As much as I adore my jim jams, sometimes getting up and getting dressed is just what the Dr ordered…

Of course, you have to make sure you’re very warm (which I have, I’m wandering around my office in a freaking beanie and scarf)… Here is a quick set. It may or may not be good, I’m to drugged up to tell you, honestly!

Phoning it in fashion-wise

You know those mornings where nothing seems to work and the simplest things take *forever*?

That was today for me so instead of thinking about it I went to my current go to outfit to wear to work.

It’s a knee-length, faux-wrap dress in black that dips a little too low at the front (ie the “girls” are constantly out) so to make it a little more modest and add a pop of colour I am wearing a cute little singlet top in red underneath. I finished the ensemble with stockings and my chunky healed black slouch boots and a great French Connection scarf/ wrap. Perth weather is still pretty mild so I didn’t worry about a coat or jacket today. My jewellery is pretty modest and is in shades of brown/ gold.

 

Do you have an outfit that you go to when you just can’t be bothered inventing a new look?
