Body Suits: Can I have a side of wedgies with that?

I love a good topic of debate. Most recently I asked whether or not hats had a place in modern fashion. Today I’m asking whether or not body suits are practical OR fashionable.

As someone with a few more curves than the average ‘I only consume 800 calories a day’ model, I wonder whether body suits would look fab and just highlight the flab!

I also wonder how toileting goes? I mean, seriously, that will be the day the lock on the toilet door doesn’t work and Ryan Gosling* walks in!

*Okay, maybe that would be *so* bad… So many pick up lines, so little time.

You’re welcome!

Would wedgies be a concern too? I mean, I do a lot of bending (hurr hurr), stretching, lifting and climbing in my job that by the time I was finished they would be so far up my arse I could use them as tooth floss.
Do you wear undies with it? I mean, do you double up or go some weird version of commando?
Would they not encourage cameltoes?
Would they make you boobies look WEIRD? My boobies look weird in one-piece swimmers. Kind of flat and squishy and usually lopsided.

Anyway, all those questions aside; What do you think of these sets? Would you wear a body suit or are you happy to just tuck your shirt in like a normal, non body suit wearing, person!

Continuing on from yesterday’s post on skin tones and how to choose colours to compliment you! Skin Tones are also categorised using the seasons. Spring, Autumn, Winter & Summer.

To sum it up quickly here is a quote from eHow.

“Winter”: complexions have blue or pink undertones. Skin can be pale white, yellowish-olive, or dark. Winter people are generally brunettes, with deeply colored eyes. Many Asians and African Americans fall into this category.

“Summer”: complexions, like winter complexions, have blue or pink undertones. Skin is pale and pink. Summers are often natural blondes or brunettes with pale eyes.

“Autumn”: Autumn complexions have golden undertones. Many redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes fall into this category.

“Spring”: Spring complexions have golden undertones and are usually creamy white or peach. Spring people generally have straw-colored or strawberry red hair, freckles, rosy cheeks, and blue or green eyes.

I’m going to be discussing medium skin tones which I’m going to take that on board as an Autumn classification.

Being an Autumn means you will have the warmer skin tones like gold, peach or golden beige.

Today we are going to look at three different skin tones and the best accessories and colours to go with them. Our focus will be on making the most of the skin you are in. We all have fair skin but that would be a bit repetitive so we have all opted to concentrate on different tones to cater for most of us out there.

Amy – Pale skin tone

Being pale may not be in. Being pale may not be cool. But being pale has its advantages.

1. You don’t look like an extra in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
2. You don’t have to spray tan.
3. Sunscreen smells yummy (or is that just me?)
4. It is EASY to accessorize and look super funky

Pale women have the advantage here. Not much clashes with pale like women with darker skin more olive skin. We do have to worry about getting washed out and that’s where I come in to help. I have only prepared two basic sets today but I can tell you that you can look to many Hollywood beauties for inspiration!

Emma Stone is one great example! Rocking red lips and emerald green earrings! You go girl!

So how does the every day ‘pale’ girl accessorize?

DO NOT:
• Wear colours that wash you out (try avoiding bright yellows and browns)
• Over accessorize, you don’t want to look like a snowed in Christmas tree

DO!
Wear lots of corals. Such an attractive colour on girls with paler skin!!! See below for some ideas!

WEAR LEOPARD PRINT!!!

But please only in a hinting kind of way. Nobody looks good decked out in complete leopard print. Here are some cute ideas to add a little animal to your wardrobe.

I know this is only brief. If you have any questions about what to do and what NOT to do with accessorizing for paler skin, don’t hesitate to comment below.
Have an amazing hump day

Bec – Dark to medium skin tone

I want to start by saying that I love darker skin tones, I love how daring and bold you can be with olive skin.

What works:

Yellow gold works well on darker skin tones

Purple and the right greens really compliment you but nothing beats the look of pure white against your skin for a fresh yet contrasting look.

What to avoid:

Warmer shades suit you best so silver or rose gold may not work for you, if you have to get something in those colours try to ensure that there are other colours in the piece to break it up or brighten it.

Some pastels will wash you out so avoid them or break them up with brighter colours.
