ABCs of Style was started by three friends in order to create a place to talk about fashion without having to deal with too many other distractions. We had all been part of an amazing blog where we could talk about anything we wanted but I think Amy, Caitlyn and myself felt like we could do with a fashion based blog to sate our desire for fashion info and tips on a daily basis. Basically we wanted to have some fun and write about clothes, make up, shoes and handbags.
Of course the only thing better than doing a fun project with a few friends is when other people join in and bring their own thoughts and views. I can honestly say this blog has helped my style evolve and while I still feel hopelessly inadequate to the task of being fashionable some days I know that I have more confidence in the way I present myself due to the support I’ve received.
We wanted to celebrate 10,000 views and over 100 subscribers with a giveaway and the point is mostly that we want to say thank you:
- to the people who visit every day
- to the people who comment and like our posts
- to the many friends and family members who offer words of advice and constructive criticism or who shamelessly pander to our ego by only saying incredibly kind things!
Since we decided to host a giveaway we have received a further 2,500 odd views and heaps of likes which has strengthened our resolve to keep going and makes us feel so justified in deciding to try this out for size.
