It’s very early morning here in Sydney. I’m starting this post at 4:22am to be more precise.
I’m leaving Sydney today for a couple of months to move back home to the little Barossa Valley in South Australia.
I was sadly made redundant last week, a position which I held for 4 and a bit years! I was truly sadden to be let go but also happy in a way because I can now pursue big and better things.
My dear Mother requested I go home for a few months. No argument from me there, so I’ve been rather busy this week packing, getting my thing here organised and cuddling the life out of my little dog Jake.
So please excuse my absence here and there over the next week while I settle into my very familiar new home. Don’t worry, won’t take me long at all. 😉
Now onto rainy day fashion!
I’m a big fan of keeping your feet dry during the cold, windy, wet months of Winter which is why I have no problem with seeing people wearing Gumboots while out and about.

Swirl of colour? Silly description but I’ve been longing to own one of these for a while now. I think purely because of the aesthetics and brand name. I’ve not heard too much on their quality though.

I’m a huge fan of polka dots, just something about them I find absolutely gorgeous. This lovely raincoat found on ASOS is a bright treat for Winter!
Forever New – Dee Spot Scarf $20
